What you are voting for

This 2-year funding would help us keep the momentum going and bring more people from our local community into restoring our kelp forests.

We would use the funding to:

  • Organize shuttles to the diving club for the volunteers before and after each event

  • Buy diving suits for the volunteers

  • Pay for snacks and drinks for the volunteers at each event

  • Hire a marine biologist part-time to develop our Biodiversity Workshop

  • Produce a species identification handbook that the volunteers can use during the events

  • Hire a professional underwater photographer once in a while to document the changes in the sea

  • Buy an underwater drone to show the sea to the volunteers who are not diving

  • Keep develop the Urchin Density Challenge to expand our reach

  • Better communicate our results with the public
