About the event
We are meeting on the ocean-facing side of the UiT building, south of the wooden pier:

No diving experience is required to participate in this event.
The only requirement is to sign up here.
You can contribute from land or in the sea.
Rissa CS does not provide diving equipment. If you don't own a wetsuit, we recommend that you become a member of SUT (Studentenes Undervannsklubb Tromsø). This will give you access to all the equipment you need to snorkel. Get in touch with us if you have questions.

Ocean Green is helping to scale up kelp forest restoration in Norway, and find new, commercially-viable uses for sea urchins. Ocean Green is led by Ava Ocean, and partners include NIBIO, NIVA, Akvaplan-niva, Across Nature and Hoseth Biocare. Additionally, Andreas Altenburger at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway is our scientific advisor and research partner for the site in Telegrafbukta.
