Join us to maintain nestbox owls in Tromsdalen. This is part of a wide-scale owl monitoring program that includes over 500 nestboxes in Troms.

About the event
This event is free but the registration is binding: if you have signed up and can't join, let us know immediately.
It is time to check these nestboxes and make sure they are in good shape before the winter.
Tengmalm and hawk owls are most likely to use these nestboxes. Although squirrels, goldeneye, passerines, marten can use them too.
They all look for cavities in trees, and these are rare in nature, considering that trees are logged before they get old and large.
Be aware that the terrain is quite steep in one or two places, and we're going off the beaten paths.
If it rains a lot, we will cancel. If you have signed up, we will let you know the day before.
