Owl nestboxes: first autumn check!

Join this walk in Tromsdalen to check if owls have used our nestboxes. This project is Rissa's contribution to a wide-scale owl monitoring program that includes over 500 nestboxes in Troms County.

About the event
We will meet at the end of Turstveien, where the gate is, at 10AM.

Be aware the terrain is quite steep and we're going off the beaten paths.
Tengmalm owls and Hawk owls are most likely to use these nestboxes. But we never know what we can find! Squirrels, passerines, marten etc. They all look for cavities in trees, and these are extremely rare in nature, considering that trees are logged before they get old and large.
Don't forget to bring a lunch :)
