Sara Roosvall is a marine science enthusiast and a hobby artist.
While working on her Master’s thesis, Sara found that algae change their levels of antioxidants and pigments as they age. Curious to take her research further, she collected sea urchins to see if their shells held pigments too. When she milled them, she revealed beautiful, soft purple-pink tones. In this workshop, Sara blends her background in marine biology with her passion for art, inviting us to form a deeper, more personal connection with the ocean through creativity.
This art workshop is organized in collaboration with, and with support from the Erasmus Student Network in Tromsø.
