Om arrangementet
Join us for a screening of Ismaele Tortella's latest work: "Stone Biter: Saving the Arctic Sea Forests", a short documentary that dives beneath the surface of Northern Norway’s ocean to uncover the silent collapse of Arctic kelp forests, and the people working to restore them.
Ismaele Tortella is a director, underwater cameraman, drone pilot specialized in wildlife documentaries and based in Tromsø, Northern Norway.
Following the film, Rissa Citizen Science's director Delphin Ruché will join to talk about the nonprofit's efforts to restore kelp forests around Tromsø. Ruché will share insights into their hands-on efforts, how citizen science plays a key role in environmental recovery, and what you can do to help turn the tide.
This event is organized in collaboration with Rissa Citizen Science, and is part of the "Wednesday at the Museum" series, featuring extended evening hours and monthly events.
