|Solneset forest
We will put on snowshoes, and explore the forest on Tromsøya, putting up new nestboxes, checking some that are already deployed and filling bird feeders. The Tromsø Tits project aims at better understanding the effects of light pollution on songbirds in the Arctic.

Today, Rissa Citizen Science is collaborating with Viking Cruises as part of an effort to make tourism in Tromsø more regenerative.
The Tromsø Tits Project is led by our research partner Dr. Barbara Tomotani, biochronologist at the Arctic university of Norway-UiT.
